Documents and papers required to apply via the platforms
To complete the transaction successfully via the specified official electronic platforms, please prepare and prepare the following documents and supporting papers:
- A copy of the expatriate’s entry visa to the country and the phone number linked to the application.
- The original valid passport of the beneficiary.
- A recent personal photo of the beneficiary with a white background.
- A letter referring the examination addressed to the medical authority from the sponsor.
Self-submission steps and procedures
We explain to you the application and review steps officially followed to implement the transaction through government platforms and systems:
Step No. 1
Book an appointment for a medical examination for an expatriate through the Metrash2 application or the Medical Commission portal at the Ministry of Health.
Step 2
Pay the prescribed medical examination fee of 100 Qatari riyals electronically before heading to the center.
Step 3
Conducting the prescribed tests (blood, x-rays, etc.) at the approved Commission center.
Step No. 4
The result is issued electronically and automatically linked to the residency file at the Qatari Ministry of Interior.
Expert Advice: Exemptions and Exceptions
Small enterprises or entrepreneurs are exempt from some fees according to the government decisions currently in effect.
Emergency alternatives (manual procedure)
In the event that the electronic portal malfunctions or there are technical issues, you must book an appointment and visit the Ministry’s branches to complete the procedure manually.
